Why He Rocked

  1. He was considered to be the greatest guitarist of all time by almost everybody.
  2. He was very innovative and pioneered several popular guitar techniques such as pinch harmonics.
  3. He famously did a great guitar solo on the late Michael Jackson's "Beat It".
  4. Despite the fact that the members of Van Halen hated each other, he got along with all of them very well for the most part.
