Edward Lodewijk Van Halen (January 26th, 1955 - October 6th, 2020), known as Eddie Van Halen, was an American musician and songwriter who was best known as the main songwriter and guitarist of Van Halen.
Why He Rocked
- He was considered to be the greatest guitarist of all time by almost everybody.
- He was very innovative and pioneered several popular guitar techniques such as pinch harmonics.
- He famously did a great guitar solo on the late Michael Jackson's "Beat It".
- Despite the fact that the members of Van Halen hated each other, he got along with all of them very well for the most part.
